Instructions: If you already know a connector on the site, who can be used as a reference for you, then please indicate (up to three) connector name(s) below. You should only select a connector’s name, if they know you well enough to be an additional reference.

Connector Guidelines
  1. Connectors should spend a minimum of 6 hours online each week matching, emailing and calling their singles (members).
  2. Connectors should work with at least 30 members and search at least once a week for each member, matching appropriately.
  3. Connectors should accept members into their network (or decline with valid reason) within 24 hrs. The member should then be emailed to set up a 'Get to know you' call.
  4. Connectors should then call their members within 3 days to get to know them better. The call should be approximately 15 minutes long.
  5. Only married Connectors are allowed on the site.
  6. Connectors may not require a specific fee for their services, however we will email members who become engaged through the site to remind them to show their appreciation to the Connectors. We also inform them about the laws of matchmaking.
  7. All matches must be made online, through the site. Even if done with the best of intentions, it is not halachically permissible and is Geneiva.
  8. No one can use your password (whether married or single), nor can you allow them to view the Connectors side of the system. Even if done to help a single, it is not halachically permissible and is Geneivat Daat.
  9. We know that you will find the YUConnects site incredibly helpful, but we encourage each Connector to find and use the 1 site that best allows them to help people find their match. If you determine that YUConnects is that site, then in order to help avoid confusion and conflict with our site policies, we ask that you NOT use or be listed on any other matchmaking site.
