Just in time for Tu B’Av, the Jewish Valentine’s day, SawYouAtSinai, the most popular Jewish Matchmaking site, and Nefesh B’Nefesh, an organization promoting immigration to Israel, have created a brain-child named “See You in Israel”. The new matchmaking site, girded with slogans such as "find your aliya-minded match" and "share your love of Israel," aims to bring singles who share a common love of Israel together.
The site is open to both those who are planning on making Aliya to the land of Israel and those who already live in the holy land. This ensures that each user of the site will be only matched with people who are planning on living in Israel in the future.
“Many young Olim who have a passion for Israel and Zionism express a desire to connect with similar minded people,” explained Nefesh B’Nefesh Director of Pre-Aliyah Marc Rosenberg.
“We also encounter immense excitement and anticipation among local singles – both Olim and Israelis - when we have groups of North American singles arriving on Aliyah. This dating site will provide a great forum to bring these people together,” he added.
See You in Israel also welcomes singles of all levels of religious observance, from yeshivish to reform. It uses live matchmakers and intricate algorithms to pair up Israel-loving singles.
